“So basically the broker Fjordera blocked my account when the balance was 14,600 euros. They started demanding all these stupid documents. I came here on a colleague's recommendation (who got burned the same way). The lawyers took the case to the ACF, Consob's arbitrator. Its decision does not force anyone to pay — they told me that up front; but if you do not pay, the default goes on the ACF site, on the broker's own home page and into two national papers, at your expense. They paid after five months. Knocked off one star because the first time round they took ages to call me back on their own.”

“The Odemira Yield platform shut down and insolvency proceedings were opened... My assets were mixed in with the general ones, so only a portion came back through the insolvency administrator. I got 11,643 euros instead of the 38,594 that were sitting there... This firm's lawyers helped me correctly file creditor claim No. 412 in the proceedings. Sad that it wasn't everything, but at least something!!! The cost was told to me at the first meeting and put in writing the same day. 🙏 Thank you to the young woman who patiently took my calls every single day.”

The daily calls were taken by our trainee, and that is her job. The Odemira Yield file stays open for the final distribution: if anything comes through, we call you.

“Well, for the FXdirekt Bank almost everything was paid back, though I waited a long time. The EdW paid out its maximum, 20 thousand euros. The firm worked properly, though the girl on the phone was somehow cold. On the whole not bad, in Poland there are no such firms.”

“The freeze on the exchange came through the court, and 85000 euros came back. Not everything that was there, but the lawyers were upfront about that from the start. Thanks to the lawyers.”

“My first experience with prop trading, with My Forex Funds, ended in the account being frozen because of a lawsuit by the American regulator CFTC. I thought the money (nearly 14 thousand euros) was lost forever, and I was so ashamed in front of my family over such an 'investment'. This firm's lawyers helped me get onto the register for the resumption of payouts after the firm's assets were frozen. I got back every last cent. Great thanks for the professionalism and the emotional support throughout the process.”

“I wrote four stars a year ago, now I am correcting them. We won the case, the director was declared insolvent and on paper I hold a judgment. Actual money: €1,200 in twelve months, in instalments of a hundred. Nobody told me that winning and collecting are two different things; maybe that is obvious to a lawyer, it was not to me.”

It was not obvious, and it should have been said. A judgment is worth as much as the assets behind it, and here the assets are one instalment a month. Your correction a year later is worth more than ten reviews written in the moment.

“A call centre rang me, supposedly some elite investment platform, and every week the 'manager' would send a little screenshot of my balance going up. I put in £5,988 — and that was the money for the van lease, without the van I don't work. Tried to cash out — dead silence, the number doesn't exist anymore. Went to Carrara. They dug up that the whole platform was painted on, and my transfers had gone off my card — and they leaned on the bank until it logged them as fraudulent. The bank fobbed me off at first, I'd never have cracked it on my own. In four months, £5,900 of the £5,988 came back. The van lives. Their prices bite, I won't pretend otherwise, but the lads don't put on a show, they actually got it sorted. Verdict: go with them.”

“they got my money back from the company Kelvara Finance!! there was a big class action in London and finally a settlement. got back almost everything, or more precisely the 61,539 euros that were frozen on the account. i took off a star because this whole process dragged on since 2023, i've had my second child in the meantime!! but the main thing is the money is on the account now.”

“The case was about the Arvello protocol hack. I got back around 67,000 euros after the protocol voted for compensation. The firm's lawyers did a solid job, though at first I didn't believe it.”
